A Brief Introduction to 360° Videos

A Brief Introduction to 360° Videos

360° videos, which are getting more and more popular nowadays, offer their viewers pleasant experiences. So, what is this 360° video?

360° videos are spherical videos shot with a camera that can record all aspects of the environment in which it is located, rather than a single angle like normal videos. Since all directions are recorded, viewers can control the direction they watch while watching the video.

360° videos cannot be recorded with normal cameras. Since they record all aspects globally, recording can be done with special cameras. So, what are the 360° cameras?

360° videos are recorded with multiple cameras or by using a special equipment or by using a special camera with multiple camera lenses embedded in the device and recording all angles simultaneously. These separate images are then merged into software, resulting in 360° video.
